Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and professor at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk's father was British and her mother, is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. Early on Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and they renewed their vows in a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) appears on CNN's all-time favorite television couple list. They also were named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top television couple of 2013.
